Guido Pella dismissed Brazilian Guilherme Clezar (159°), 6-7 (6), 6-0, 2-0 and retirement (stomach) to reach Bucaramanga's Challenger second round.
Pella rallied a 1-5 disadvantage in first set, but then he lost it in tie break. In second set, the 23 years old connected another five aces, won all the points with his first service and took three of the four in break points to won by 6-0.
Then and after another break, Clezar decided to retire from the match.
In second round, Guido will play against Argentinian Guido Andreozzi (143°) or Colombian Eduardo Struvay (509°).
