Zeballos ends with Pella's hopes

After a tremendous battle against Leonardo Mayer (7-6, 6-7, 7-6 in 2h33m), Guido Pella couldn't keep his level and was beaten by his countryman Horacio Zeballos in Brazil Open 2014 second round.

The Mar del Plata native connected 6 aces, won 84% of points with his first service and capitalized 3-10 break point opportunities to knocked out Pella 6-3, 6-4 in 73 minutes.

Although the 2R elimination, Pella could retain the points obtained in 2013.

On Friday, the 23 years old player will travel to Indian Wells and on Tuesday he will play the qualy road to the first Masters 1000 of the season.
