Guido Pella could't passes his opening test in Irving Tennis Classic (Texas, United States).
The Bahía Blanca native was beaten 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 by Italian Paolo Lorenzi (100°) in the first round match and after 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Pella won only the 46% of points with his first service and 40% with his second. Also, he suffered five breaks.
Guido fights until the end. The 23 years old player came up after a bad first set and tied the match with a 6-3 in second set. However, Lorenzi reached a crucial break in tenth game of third set and took the victory.
Now Pella will play the qualification for a place in Miami's Masters.
